愿力在哪里？
where is the power of vow?
愿力在心里。
It resides within one’s mind
愿力不是告诉别人，
and is not something about which to brag.
愿力是自己用真心默默地耕耘。
Vows are the act of making significant efforts to selflessly care for others, all the while keeping these actions to yourself.
所以“行愿之道”，
Once on the path of vow fulfilment,
当你行了这个愿力，
you must also take action in addition to having the power of vow.
你才能修成正果。
Only then will your spiritual cultivation be accomplished.
功德怎么来的？
Where do merit and virtue come from?
默默耕耘啊！
They come from working and toiling in silence.
一个人能够舍去身上的毛病，
That is why, should a person be able to do away with their shortcomings,
舍去自己内心的贪瞋痴，
greed, hatred and ignorance,
实际上就是在佛的道路上精进修行。
they would already be diligently cultivating on the Buddha’s path.
